Look at the case and you’ll see them towering above: the harbor cranes. The same silhouette that has towered over Övik Harbor for generations and symbolizes so much—including what applies to MoDo Hockey.
Industry. Hard work. The gateway to the world—and the gateway home to the industrial town.
It all began in 1921, in Alfredshem. There, at August Johansson’s café, a club was born that would become the rallying fire for the entire region. Alfredshems IK later became MoDo AIK, which became MoDo Hockey. The factory team.
The year 1921 is engraved on both the crown and the clasp, so the club’s origins are always present. Around the dial are the lines “For honor we shall fight; that struggle unites us.” These lines are taken from the anthem *Viljans Vackra Namn* (The Beautiful Name of Will), which is also featured on the crest.

The red bezel with green accents displays 19 and 21: together, they represent the founding year of 1921, but also Markus Näslund’s number 19 and Peter Forsberg’s number 21.

The MoDo emblem is positioned at 12 o’clock, while the text ·ALFREDSHEM 1921· is located at 6 o’clock. The green second hand adds another of the club’s colors. The date display is positioned at 3 o’clock.
